Please. I’m gonna assume you’re a troll with that nonsense....

Because the trophy for Oppression Olympics is usually death.

Listen! That, too.

I saw it after Korryn Gaines death. Black men went white so quickly, it was scary. They were talking about how bad our attitude is, if they were in the same situation they would have shot her too. All of a sudden they believe the police’s version of the story, which we never in other cases, because it’s been proven

Disagree. The Root has always been straight forward. The article speaks the truth. And sometimes that truth hurts. We gotta do better for all of us for all of us to do better.

Read back through older VSB articles by Damon. That’s not really the case when you look at his broader body of work.

Why is talking about the reality of what Black women face anti-Black male? We are always told we’re being divisive when we talk about what’s going on. It’s a great way to silence us and nothing has to change. This has nothing to do with white people and what they want.

Are you seriously claiming that drunk men are taken advantage of at an equivalent rate to drunk women? Even if that is the case, how does that negate women being raped? All that would mean is that men being taken advantage of while inebriated needs more social attention.

That’s not the argument. If you see what he said about this woman breaking down the points, it’s about using the idea that men can’t be raped when drunk to shut down the far more likely incidents of drunk women being raped.

In my experiences white people love being talked about by POC positively. They tend to be extremely sensitive and dislike being made the butt of jokes or not being the center of our adoring attention. I’d register wypipo more on the humor side of the spectrum as opposed to hateful, so the tantrums are strange behavior

“But it’s in the song title...”
“I only say it to my black friend...”
“My girlfriend is black...”

“’Imagine what would happen if a white man said that.’ I don’t have to imagine. I live in the brick-and-mortar reality of it.”

All of this. If I knew it made wypipo cry, I would have started using it a long time ago. I’m still partial to “Dwights” though.

You sir, are an ass.

Will state again for all wypipo: You got free labor for hundreds of years, our folk built all your favorite institutions and monuments and your very gov buildings and houses; we fought and died in all your wars; you raped our mothers and daughters and thus helped create all our colors; you live in a society built on

“Wypipo” is such a clever word. It expertly conveys how naive and coddled they are. Like overgrown children who have been given more than their fair share, only to demand more and to cry out at how “unfairly” they have been treated. The fact that wypipo get so irrationally upset at the use of the word is a delicious

YPer, reading this.

Boom!

As a white guy I think the term wypipo is excellent shorthand. Applause to the anonymous wordsmith who invented it.

Me: Laughing while floating on a sea of white tears
