It was easy to miss, but I liked the brief bit where Teddy and Bob were debating the attractiveness of Glen the handyman.

Not even remotely lying, I initially thought Bob was Josh Brolin’s character in the Goonies.

I’m a pretty big fan, in addition to my weird fascination with Hugh Dillon’s acting career.  They’re touring right now for the 25th anniversary of their Picture of Health album.  I haven’t gotten tickets though, since I just saw them twice in the last year and I’ve not quite been able to justify a third show just yet.

I went to see the Headstones once and near the end of the night they covered SOS by ABBA.  That was some fun.

I keep reading it as ‘So Long, Letterkenny’ and going “Noooooooo!”

One of the good things about it is how the show portrays the diversity of the area where the Kims live and work. it’s not one Korean family awash in a sea of white people. Their neighbors are portrayed as having all manner of ethnicities, which is pretty accurate to the actual area of Toronto.

Slightly off-topic but do any of the olds here remember the episode of Degrassi Junior High when Yick talks about how his family were ‘Boat people’? I thought that was a decent episode, even if it was like 30 years ago that it aired.

I’m not big on the taste of Fruit Loops, but if I could bottle the smell and make a room deodorizer out of it, you bet your ass I’d do it in a heartbeat.

I’ve been rewatching the early episodes (i’m currently mid-season 9) and watching this episode I found the HD... jarring, to say the least.  

I think Newsradio did it best when they just had the main couple hook up in the second episode.

I read the other article about the misogyny in their songs, and I gotta say.. If wanna listen to quality “Sad men struggling through an emotionally-stunted post-adolescence” I’ll stick to Barenaked Ladies or Ben Folds.
