I mean, she’s fine! Sure! My point is that, before Harry, she was an employed, but not overwhelmingly popular actress. That’s cool. Good for her. But I would argue that she never would have achieved the profile she has now without Harry and the Royal family. If they want out, great! Go for it! but I think the ahlf in Read more

Yeah Chelsy was reportedly not at all interested in being royal (and the press that comes with it). She came from HUGE money herself (father is reported to be worth over $500 million) so I sorta doubt you can accuse her of being after “the money.” She almost certainly had an easier time earning/spending what her Read more

Also like.... it’s Amsterdam? Surely there are things open quite late and other things opening up quite early? You aren’t industrious enough to kinda entertain yourself for a few hours? I mean, even if you didn’t have the money for ONE night in a hostel... go find one and bed to sleep in their lobby/couch/whatever? Or Read more

Just here to say I unapologetically love Taylor Swift. She works HARD. She can write a catchy earworm of a tune before I’ve even finished breakfast. The Reputation Tour was fun as fuck. I went for my 36th birthday. I really only heard about her circa the Red album and everything that came after it. I love 1989. I’m Read more

I got two Susie cakes cupcakes for 51 cents.  Then I ate them.  That is all.

Right? We were taught a similar thing—zero engagement. Dog jumps, you turn around so your back is to the dog, cross your arms, stay silent so there’s NOTHING the dog could perceive as reinforcing the behavior.  They just want attention.  Once they realize they won’t get it, they calm down.

I’m pretty sure my dog thinks she owns us.  She’s got us VERY well trained ;)

This! Before I got a dog, I did my research to find a dog that fit my lifestyle. I knew I’d be brining my dog to the office every day, so I needed a lazier breed. That ruled out herding breeds. I needed a dog that I could easily transport on my own if puppy decided to put on the furry breaks. That ruled out any dog

My 2007 Mercedes dings when there’s weight in the driver or passenger seat and the seatbelt isn’t in use.  We truly do HAVE this technology and have had it for some time now.

This is an abundantly stupid comment. You know why people are probably less likely to forget their phone than their child? Because they are accustomed to using their phone all the time. If I got to work and forgot my phone in my car, I’d notice pretty quickly. Not because I value my phone more than anything else, but b Read more

The thing I don’t understand about the reluctance to get technology into cars that would remind people if they left their child in the seat is that... we already HAVE that basic technology and it’s FINE? that is, we already have the technology that will alert you if someone in the driver’s seat or passenger seat isn’t Read more

training my little puppy muffin was one of my great joys. But then again, Ivanka and Jared hate anything that takes actual work so, unlikely they’ll do it.

Shit. I can confidently and honestly say I prefer my home to the home of a millionaire.

Mostly because that place sucks.  But I’ll take it.

I actually worry LESS about Pence. While he’s undoubtedly more competent than Trump (which, bar is low) I don’t see him as dangerously weirdly cult-like popular as Trump. Sure the fundy evangelicals would adore him, but the racist non-college educated white older white men? I think a lot of them probably find him Read more

I quite literally said “FOR THE MOST PART...Sure. There are exceptions. But by and large, the onscreen talent is tricker to replace than a costume designer.

Agreed. I think Perry killed his brother. I think Celeste will start to feel/realize (more and more) that one of her twins is taking after Perry and the other might be the next Raymond. Like maybe we’re headed towards a “The Good Son” territory.
