@sassyredhead: That dress is fantastic! Wish I could get one for myself.
I'm a little confused. I can see why extensive (e.g. cosmetic) screening for embryos might create problems for us as a species, but I don't understand why it's so bad on an individual level. If, hypothetically, we could choose hair and eye color, and (also hypothetically) we didn't have to worry about things like…

@thrombus: Scoff can be used the way he's using it. [www.thefreedictionary.com]
@Rosa Scandalosa: Depends. There's incitement. [en.wikipedia.org]
@LaComtesse: Ah, society. Yes. Society made me a cantakerous whore, so can I get a pass too?
@graciousplum: What? *Several* people have never purchased $1K+ shoes?

@jeepgirl...is on Wit's End Road: Maybe she tends to get cold?
@intime: Quite frankly, how do you know whether she is "fine" or not?
@slowpoke.r: I think you are absolutely correct. A silhouette is a two-dimensional, black-and-white representation that can be positioned in a 'fat-thin' continuum. Real bodies are not at all like that.
I'm confused by the notion of "giving your body what it needs". I think we often don't know what our bodies need. Just because we have an impulse doesn't mean it's a good idea to act on it.
Can't wait to see what legal argument he'll make to support this one. Perhaps the "women aren't allowed to do shit I don't like" law?
Does anyone else find this really creepy? Having a bunch of judges watch you to determine how "moral" you are?
