I almost got hit by a driver blowing through a red light last weekend.. this time of year is especially crazy! But there’s a Jamba Juice there now so I will risk it. ;)

Right? Effing Short Pump..😜

Should have read on first.. 🤓

Are you thinking of Boulevard? This one is in carytown next to Martin’s (ex-Ukrops).

It’s very small.

Richmond is definitely more tense than, say, Los Angeles (where I grew up), but the city proper is pretty progressive.

This is in a part of town that is very mixed and popular. Lots and lots of students, families, rich and not, different ethnicities, etc. The area is very active at most times, but the CVS is a little tucked away from the main action. It’s a very small store with, last time I came visited, a mix of employees.

Yasssss

No.

Pretty sure when Johnny Utah catches up with you that’s when the fun and games start, amirite? *winks*

Drinking makes my anxiety worse so I decline as well. But I’ve gotten the impression from some people that they think I look down on them or disapprove. So, I’ve taken to adding something like “alcohol doesn’t agree with me.” People seem to be more comfortable with that because it’s about me, not that I might be

I’m so sorry.. Best of luck to you!

Agreed.. They all looked shit.

I was 9 when that movie came out and I adored it. Watched it hundreds of times. Similarly enchanted with Beauty and Aurora. But I had a strong single mom to learn from and I never once felt like I had to give up any part of myself to satisfy a man. I think it’s less about what they’re watching than the parental spoken

My mom has stepped over the fence at the grand canyon on, as well as big sur. The latter was on my 17th bday and I was so pissed that not only could she have died but it would have ruined my bday ever after.

Or she was passed over for promotions because the manager didn’t want to lose her in that grunt position.

This. Many of the letters on that site showcase the worst of humanity.

Except they weren’t asking for advice on how to rectify the situation. They were asking for advice on how to best go about telling the e-employee that she acted “unprofessionally,” under the guise of caring about her future career.

She is my bedtime reading this week. :)
