Does it end with a song by Cake...?
Does it end with a song by Cake...?
Purely financial based. Love Jim Carey, but if I had a choice between an amazingly animated Sonic with a strong voice lead, or a well-known villain, Sonic always wins.
Lol I agree. Don’t get me wrong, go team Sega, they need a few wins; but some things just don’t work live action, but then again, they likely gross significantly more than cartoons, so I see their reasoning.
Fire was the wrong word on my behalf. If I was in the process of developing this film, I would have taken a different path, and chosen to put more effort into developing the star of the movie, whether he/she was animated or not. Obviously at this moment, they cannot let Jim Carey go, and as I’ve said before, I love…
Should of just called it, “Jim Carey Does Impressions - Part 1", he’s a hilarious actor and I love him, but I don’t get the Robotnik vibe.
I’m not saying Jim Carey is the problem, I’m saying that there are other funny actors, who represent Robotnik more, and won’t make this look like another live action Woody Woodpecker, Rocky and Bullwinkle, or Duddly Doright, it’s a 90's remake, and unfortunately I don’t see it going well.
Agreed, that’s what I had in mind.
I think of it as Detective Pikachu/Pokemon style, you can still do a reputable person for the voice of Sonic.
Jim Carey is hilarious, and I won’t deny that. This trailer, he does look funny, but he doesn’t act/look like Robotnik, and that’s what I have a problem with. He’s acting like Jim Carey, which I love. It just doesn’t need to be in Sonic.
Robotnik will always be a Danny Devito for me.
Two things... 1) I want to go back to Jamaica... 2) Please make this, crowdfund it, really just do anything to provide more of this sweet sweet content.
Seriously agree. I know it’s easier to say if I was in charge it’d be different, but come on. Just fire Jim Carey and James Marsden, get a couple up and coming actors, save a bunch, and hire an artist such as the one above. Sonic has enough reputation to be the lead, even if he is a fictional character.
I agree about Hot Pursuit, I didn’t mind Alcatraz, it was definitely a more fast-paced version, which I liked. However, I balanced the slower tactical with Blackout, and then fast-paced with standard Multiplayer. I also enjoyed Hardcore Blackout. Hot Pursuit’s respawning mechanics is what made it for me, grouping up…
That’s true about the reskins, but then again, I’m not sure how they would differentiate the melee category, unless they made it two-hit KO... which would make me sad.
One Melee Weapon and One Gun. Normally I would agree, but the events go on for 30+ days, it’s not too grindy if you play a few hours each week. I’m going to miss Pursuit, but overall I felt it was on for quite a bit.
Every Sonic and Sega fan right now... “I hate myself that I am going to watch this.”
Funny outcomes; but I feel every seed has been revamped to have a city, building, landmark within eyesight of the spawn point. I remember when I had to walk 100+ in-game miles (feel like there’s an old person joke in that statement) to find even the most remote building. It made exploring more fun to our groups.
Battlefield Hardline nailed down the weather aspect in my opinion. I remember driving on the islands and a hurricane would come in, or fighting in the desert and a sandstorm would roll in. Changing the game mid-game was a nice touch. I think this type of model should be added into Blackout. It would be cool to have…
Very similar to what I was thinking.
I’m really happy for this... not because it’s a great deal, because I really thought they were going to put Sony in its place... well that crisis is avoided.
