His references to the power imbalance & his industry status sound somewhat God-like and also vaguely condescending - all these women who admired him, looked up to him... Um, no, I’m sure some did not.…

His skill as a writer actually makes this non-apology worse—much worse. He knows how to use words to manipulate an audience and make them feel what he wants them to feel. He’s a master at that. This piece is a transparent attempt to win sympathy.
