Stefan was going to break up with Elena for the same reason in 1 x10 remember ? and she said something like " No, Stefan if you walk away it'll be for you not for me. Because I know what I want. Stefan, I love you." and stefan respected her decision ? Shows how far she's been ruined as a character.
