I love the Eli saga. So the Giants win two flukey Super Bowls with all-time great defenses, O-lines and serviceable skill players. Eli played well for those two short stretches. Besides that, he has been an average QB at best...and now he is old.

I can’t see how the Kazee hit on Lee is a penalty. He went about as far away from the ball carrier’s helmet as possible. Of course he destroyed Lee’s knee, but he did exactly what he was supposed to do, right? He could have dropped his shoulder and helmet into Lee’s upper body like the Colts’ Adams did.

Although the stakes might not be as high, I would argue that this is more despicable. The OSU admin could have easily resolved this by canning Meyer. It was simple and black and white. There is very little nuance to this.
