And screw the team he was ending up with? The Jazz picked him in the draft and paid him the CBA allowed

I’ve always felt that the extra sauce Jordan had over LeBron was his complete lack of humanity. Jordan is basically a non-violent psychopath. LeBron seems like a well adjusted, thoughtful person containing a normal range of emotions.

The barbell workout in this blog post seems to have no clear purpose. “Kick your ass?” I guess that is the purpose. Maybe it fulfills the need to exert yourself for 20 minutes. As far as actual fitness outcomes it seems to have no real focus.

That’s how we would *like to think* that works. If it was just stereotypical ‘guy in the bushes’ stuff we could all be convinced that we could remove ourselves (or daughters, wives and friends) from the threat.

DeFord was a true legend. He had a great writing style and a genuine curiousity that never seemed to wane. He never had the smarminess of the other famous sportswriters that came after him (looking at you Reilly...Albom...Lupica). He brought the extra layer past the box score or highlights. He wasn’t a jock sniffer

I know some folks that worked with Sato when he first came over to IndyCar and they all said he was a real gentleman. He had a reputation of a “wreck waiting to happen” from F1 and he had a few issues like any racer in IndyCar. He seemed to clean it up as time went on. Overall he has had a decent stint in IndyCar.

I agree completely. I didn’t notice any condecension. They don’t get the level of pampering in IndyCar as in F1, but he didn’t seem to mind. If anything, he seemed to enjoy the more relaxed environment. He is a true sportsman, racer and gentleman.

Business papers.

Yep, and you should have as many NHL teams as there are MLB teams in the Dominican and Cuba.

Do you know if this type of deal occurs in markets outside of the US? Top level soccer stadiums in Europe? What about the NHL, MLB and NBA teams in Canada?

Are you sure he isn’t working on Napoleon Dynamite 2:Tetherball Ninja?

Trade IT. He is a great regular season player. Great offense and terrible defense. Most of his offense comes from driving which becomes harder to do as a small guy in the playoffs. His complete lack of defense becomes a glaring issue against a complete team like the Cavs.

I agree, in Rodman we have someone with more diplomatic experience than Rex Tillerson. Clearly the man for the job.

You think that maybe Cox was trolling Shanahan? The Atlanta defense played amazingly well up to the point where their offense shit the bed and more importantly Shanahan made major tactical errors.

Don’t forget to add in the fact that Matt Ryan has no elusiveness. If someone gets free he will crumple like Peyton Manning.

Wait, you think that with a healthy It the Celtics had a 15pct chance? Oh that is funny.

Yourself. Nugent and SaS. Come on.

Ding ding ding!

Upon returning to Cleveland, LeBron began to understand how to play at about 50% during the regular season and then turn it on during the playoffs. His regular season advanced stats have dropped considerably since returning to the Cavs. But once the playoffs start his advanced stats return to the same levels he showed
