He’ll eat them if offered, but he really prefers grapes. Rabbits are a good, mostly quiet, mostly independent pet, but I have found that they are very clear about who they like and do not like, and also they are poop machines (but since you have a horse, that may not be an issue, haha). Ollie (my bun) for some reason

Wait, wait, I (sort of) watched Emergence. I don’t remember him at ALL. I guess I have to go back and actually watch it?

Thank you for that thorough answer! Today I learned something :)

That episode of Bojack was one of the most uncomfortable trainwrecks I’ve ever seen. I’ve never experienced a show where I’ve wanted so badly to just shake the main character and shout, “stop fucking this up! You can do better than this!” And yet I can’t stop recommending it to people. It’s one of the most captivating

There’s a small part of me that desperately wants a Rollie, because I think they are horrifying and hilarious. I would make those eggs for my sister every time she came over, just to see her exquisite “you are a top-shelf idiot” face. Also, I guarantee I would end up using it a lot more than I would ever admit in

Wait, no, chestnuts are great! Especially roasted! (this sounds very sarcastic but I am very sincere)

Can I ask you a totally off-topic question, since it sounds like you have a horse? This just occurred to me based on your post, haha.

Absolutely agree about Radcliffe. I’ve seen several of his stage productions, and he is SO MUCH BETTER. He really does light up on stage in an entirely different way than on screen.

100% this. My sister’s husband saw the movies without reading the books, and thought they were okay, but not great. He started reading the books last year or so, and she told me the one thing he consistently brings up is how many connections and how much background info the movies assume viewers have, which leaves an

Two favorites: one I make, and one I get prepared. I make a pretty kickass (but somewhat spicy) gingerbread every year. And I’m almost always gifted some pfeffernusse – but PedanticEditor put his/her recipe in the comments of the contest article, so I’m hoping to try making them this year!

Same! I can bake trays and trays of sugar cookies (I love decorating them), but can only eat a few. And I have a pretty good recipe!

Thumbprints are the best! I wanted to submit my mom’s, but then I remembered her recipe comes from an old Betty Crocker book, haha. (I submitter her nut cups instead – which are definitely one of my favorite holiday cookies.)

I *love* pfeffernusse and had no idea how to make them, so thank you! Will definitely be trying them this year! (my cookies are the nut cups in the upper right corner 😊)

I mean, I follow a Canadian calligrapher who would 100% do that for you.

I have! But also, I love gingerbread. Usually, if I can rope my sister into it, we’ll make a house from a kit, and I’ll bake the good stuff in regular cookie shapes, since no one else really wants it. I’m hoping that WFH means I’ll have time to make a house out of the good stuff this year.

This absolutely fucking amazes me. How a guy can get to college without knowing how to tie a tie just does not compute. My dad had three girls, but wore a tie to work almost every day of his life. We were curious kids but also definitely a pain in the ass, and so he eventually taught us how to tie a simple tie knot. So

I am DYING 😂

It’s truly unbelievable.

She’s my age. MY AGE. I thought she was closer to my parents’ age.

Learned helplessness! I was just explaining the concept to my parents this weekend, after hearing some STORIES about one of my mother’s colleagues.
