It’s funny – I can’t stand marzipan, and am not a fan of almond-flavored things in general, and yet pignoli are one of my favorite cookies. I think it’s a nostalia thing. I also grew up making and eating them every Christmas (Queens, not Manhattan – Seviroli ftw). And when guests brought over the extra-fancy 1lb. baker

This is hilarious, and also I accidentally read it in my dad’s voice, lol.

It’s so annoying! I can’t tell you how many articles I’ve accidentally skipped the ending to just because of that thing.

A MILLION PERCENT YES. I legitimately heard it in my head as I was reading the tweet and cracked the hell up. 😂

Fair enough! Yeah, one of the best things about the long coat is that it has two zippers on the side, for ease of movement, and actually has a double-ended zipper, so if I need to unzip from the bottom, but want to keep the top closed, I can. (Can you tell I love my coat? lol)

My mistake! Next time I won’t assume :)

My mistake! So much for trying to help, lol.

I knew I’d heard of something like this! Wasn’t it a GBBO challenge at some point?

There’s a troll impersonating the real Dr Lizardo. Check before flagging!

It’s not the same person. There’s an asshole troll using the same display name, but if you hover over (look in the bottom left corner of the screenshots below), you can see that it’s a different user.

I’m going to be that person and paste my own tweet in here, because apparently today is the day I go around evangelizing my perfect winter coat. (If you click on my tweet, there’s another one after it with a picture.)

No, it definitely is. I’m 33 and everyone I knew was watching it.

This is one of my favorite show-off recipes. I’ve been making it for St. Patrick’s and Christmas for a few years now, and people never fail to be *amazed* at the fact that you can make your own. And you’re right, it’s SO EASY. Definitely gonna try branching out with some of these comment suggestions this year!

Star for the Bojack reference. I miss that show.

I am immediately reminded of the brilliant play (and book) “The Lifespan of a Fact,” in which a writer and a fact-checker go toe-to-toe on the very nature of what a fact is: is the the bald, strict, sometimes boring description of exactly what happened? Or can it be the feeling of what happened, through a certain lens

Yeah, I am not in the least surprised that he was the first guest, or that he’s defending her. Pretty sure she and her sister have been on his YouTube channel. (I don’t subscribe to his channel, but I do follow other BeauTubers, so he pops up in my recommendations every once in a while.)

So, I am not on TikTok. But I did discover Charli D’Amelio in a very old-person way: I went with my younger sister to the most recent Jonas Brothers concert at the Barclays Center, where Bebe Rexha opened. Apparently Charli had recently gotten some fame doing one of her dances to a Bebe song, and was at the concert, in

The studio had lost its identity in the years since its 1990s renaissance, churning out generic computer-animated fare like Chicken Little and Meet The Robinsons.

I’m only three episodes in, so I’m not looking for spoilers, but is Bobby Sands who was doing the voiceover in the first episode (or at least an actor as him)? I found it odd and a bit frustrating that that person was never identified or explained, at least then.
