Yyyyeah, except for two words: Open world. I hate open world sandbox games. They bore me to tears. I want to lose myself in a story, not the environment. I loved Bioware for their structured narratives, and am exhausted by this seeming need (or publisher’s demand) to turn every RPG into an open-world mess.

Ugh. I’m so tired of this memed-out garbage. Look, Andromeda was no perfect 10, but I’ve had more fun playing that game than most other major releases the past couple years. I certainly enjoyed it a lot more than DA:I (which I did still enjoy). Point is, while the quality has been shaky their last couple releases,

Then allow a very slight alteration: “Why do you not want Bioware to be Bioware, EA? The further they deviate from what people love them for, the more of a critical and commercial thrashing you take!”

GoddammitgoddammitGODDAMMIT.

I would argue that pregnancy is the end result of having unsuccessful sex, but I guess we have different goals. To each their own...

I’ve referred to Overwatch as “that cartoon that’s actually a game that you kinda wish was just a cartoon.” I love absolutely everything about this franchise except the game itself (which I’ve played for a free weekend but isn’t really engaging enough for me).

It isn’t shade if they’re directly calling him out. But it is a quality burn. Like... the planet just got a little hotter off the solidity of that burn.

I’m eternally disappointed that more studios didn’t try working with the Valkyria Chronicles approach to strategy gaming. It was such a fun game, but remains all but unique in its genre.

Trash talk is a major component of why I avoid competitive and multiplayer games. Probably because I’m not very good at a lot of them, but that really shouldn’t matter - your trash talking makes a lot of people not want to play with you, and that is not a good thing. It’s hard enough when you feel like every match is

RIGHT?! I’m stunned this is even a thing people could try to defend publicly.

It’s Romy and Michelle rules: since nobody knows who really invented post-its, you can just claim it was you. Who could challenge you? “Oh, yeah? So who DID invent post-its, smart ass?” Didn’t work out well for them, either, since facts are a thing that exist.

Except in the overwhelming majority of cases, incest involves one powerful person forcing/coercing a family member into sex. Just because it’s theoretically possible for it to be consensual doesn’t mean much of anything in the face of the actual facts. Just as it’s possible, and sometimes happens, that a woman makes

It’s certainly possible to be turned on by things you wouldn’t want to do in real life. Most porn is based on that, to one extent or another, and it’s fine. But this is being turned on by something nobody should ever do or be allowed to do in real life. I get that taboo makes things sexy sometimes, but incest is

Incest ships happen in a lot of fandoms and it’s always gross. People tie themselves into knots to defend it, but it’s always about a prurient interest. Use all the nicey-nice romantic language you want, claim it isn’t about the sex or the taboo, but ultimately you just want to create a justification for two hot

It’s a nickname. Her full name is Pelessaria B’Sayle Peanut Butter.

“Official” and “Officially” are not the same things. Furthermore, even if she was, talking with devs about game design isn’t censorship. People throw that term around way too much these days, usually in reference to not getting to have a thing they want. People were interested in her opinion so she shared it. Maybe

She bared her bare hands to lay bare the barely-beating bear heart she would bear to her master, which was more than he could bear. Later, she bore a bearded boar aboard a board, which was boring but just barely above-board.

To make the human female squadmate another dusky-skinned brunette with a bun and a tough no-nonsense attitude would be a complete rehash of Ash. I’m kind of surprised anyone could look at that art and not see Ashley in it. With all the other superficial aspects of this game people refuse to let go, it would have
