I would argue that Robin’s costume HAS changed drastically over the years. At least, if these new designs for Supergirl are examples of what you consider drastic.

I would also argue that Catwoman’s costumes have changed pretty dramatically over the years and that Batgirl’s DCYOU look, a pretty big change from her

My first thought seeing capeless version of the red and black was “oooh are they referencing Superboy? Is Conner coming back?!”

Re: the complicated cape outfits, I suspect they are a more traditional Kryptonian style that she uses to while investigating in the universe.

I mean, Zachary Levi is also 6'3" and the fact that he bulked up for the role is well documented so... I guess I’m confused at what everyone in this thread is going on about...

Had zero interest in any of these until I read the blurb for the Catwoman one. And I genuinely never thought I’d say this but, I’m really enjoying Lobdell’s second go at RHatO so I may pick up the Joker/Daffy one just because he’s writing it...

Oh thank Darkseid I’m not the only one who thought that.

That was literally my first thought too.

I loved Charmed and this is the best description :D

At my lcbs you get one book for coming in the door and you get entered to win a door prize. Then, the whole store is discounted (except if you’ve had them hold things for you or have something on layaway) and for every however-many-dollars you spend in the store you get another free comic book.

I think for my shop

No problem. I can see how it could be confusing. That’s why it bothers me that io9 keeps messing it up. They’ve made it their business (literally) to report on this and I’ve seen multiple articles get it wrong...

I feel it’s the reporter’s job to give accurate information so that it doesn’t confuse the readers. If

They say they’re working on it. Next thing after Doomsday Clock, I think.

io9 seems to be stubbornly refusing to understand the difference between Justice League: No Justice and Justice League, Justice League: Odyssey, and Justice League: Dark.

Justice League: No Justice = A limited series that spins off Metal and includes Teams Entropy, Mystery, Wonder and Wisdom (none of which include

Cloth clothing on statues just never looks right to me. It’s the main reason I passed on the phenomenal looking Batwoman statue at Sideshow right now, a cloth cape.

I like what Lex says in the Justice League animated series “Do you know how much power I’d have to give up to be president?”

I think the problem isn’t that they are making the superheroes different than what everyone knows but that everyone has a version of the characters that they think of as definitive. One of my favorite comic book youtubers idea of Batman is the lone detective. But Robin was introduced less than a year after Batman and,

Oh, are we still expecting this book to EVER come out? I’d written it off completely.

I’m invested because the actor playing Seg-El is a huge comics fan and all around delightful human being. I’m enjoying it, it’s only had a few episode and usually I give a show half a season to find it’s footing, but I really want to support the actor.

I thought Bendis’s story was the least meaningful and most boring. It was all just set up for his run and...
AND....
“cousinsister” ...yeah... unforgivable.
That said, I’m not totally turned off of his upcoming books. Just slightly more cautious.

Tom King’s was the most moving. Tomasi’s the most heartwarming. And John’s

I am slightly less interested. This is one of the most compelling stories in Batman’s history. I get it, everyone has their own Batman story and you wanna tell yours. You should resist that urge.

I kinda responded to your first sentence (and the people you’re referring to in your first sentence ;) ) in my stupid-long comment to Moonwalker.

Ultimately, I think killing Jason was the right move for the Batman mythos. It lead to a lot of great things. Those people who didn’t like Jason Todd aren’t right or wrong.
