Nice (although a bit pompous). However, what I see happening when you knock it somewhere is that the fluid column tears, leaving you with gaps in the fluorescein, or bubbles. Happens easily in (old-fashioned) thermometers if you drop them.
I KNEW you would say that. But, according to my reasoning, the female nerds won't date anyone - so they won't be affected by shriveled balls in two ways. Double win!
How is this relevant for the nerdy tech-community - they're not going to date anyone soon, anyway!
Ouch!
I don't think that $2400 price is correct -here's another source which puts it at $1385:
Beautiful map, Jesus - you could be the new in-house graphics designer (and make millllllllions)!
Oh - I remember the dog! How is that cartoon called again??
Seconded! And no zooms, because with a fixed lens YOU need to adapt to the object, not the other way round (apart from the fact that a prime is mostly better anyway).
So - it's a perception thing, right? Just like everyone nowadays thinks she/he can't survive without cell phones, but actually people didn't live too bad 20 or so years ago...
Actually, I'm not sure about your statement that film has "the same or less quality than a full frame...": The pigments of a film emulsion are, if I'm not mistaken, much smaller than pixels on a sensor, making the resolution of a, let's say, Kodachrome 64 still higher than any (affordable) sensor out there.
Does it also tell you why other cars have better gas mileage, better suspension, and why their interior feels less crappy?
Looks beautiful and solid! Let's wait a few weeks now until Dxo reviews sensor and lenses, and then we'll see what the data say.
So - if a company video showcasing one of their products is being posted, shouldn't that qualify as 'advertisement', or 'sponsored post'?
Yesssireee - a 5.7 litre Camino is what the world needs! Cowboy-Porsche rules!
...keep your feetsies warm...: Spending the last few minutes to un-think the phonological similarities to another word.
Ahh, nice to see that 'Lansing' sign (that's where I currently am). And yes, I've noticed the 'car-state attitude', enforced with mammoth trucks...
Yep, a motorcycle class, and 4 weeks interning on an intensive care unit - that'll teach you to drive with all your senses widely awake.
That's usually how you recognize Europeans - they'll say "no ice, please" at McDonalds. I used to do this, too, but after a while I realized that sodas in the US are sweeter, and all of a sudden the ice made sense: it dilutes the sweetness to bearable levels. Now, it's "not too much ice, please".
