Not the case for me personally, but a popular answer is sure to be all of them.
Not only is this a great use case for EVs (since these will return to a home base to charge each night and generally won’t see >200 miles each day), but it goes well with the ethos and image of the forest service. I’m here for it.
Yes!! I would love to have an Element EV. I’d put an order in day one if it was announced.
Honda should just bring back the Element, EV it, and stick the battery in the back and the spare on the rear.

The security restrictions on driving is the ONLY thing that has stopped me from becoming President.
I assume Trump feels the same way about cars that he does about dogs and beer?
THIS THIS THIIIIIIIS
I’ve been saying this exact thing for a couple of years. I dearly miss my 05 MT Element, and would immediately purchase an electric E! My one hope would be for it to be, like, two inches longer. My 6-foot frame *barely* fit when I laid down in the back with the rear seats removed. Otherwise, I’d be…
I think that particular problem belongs in the category “Don’t care. Go fuck yourself. Gotta get back to work.”
I still don’t understand why they gave up on it. If Kia can keep pushing the Soul, then Honda could easily have kept the nameplate going.
Every time I see an Element I think— my gosh that’s aged well for a design that’s twenty years old. Also, I mean, Element is sort of a perfect name for an EV. Make it happen!
Element EV for the WIN. Even the element hybrid would be a significant improvement.
FWIW you couldn’t hose out the original Element either. I don’t know where that rumor started, but you will absolutely ruin your car by doing that and they are not designed for it in any way whatsoever.
If Honda were to bring out an Element EV, I think that’d sell like hotcakes. At least around here. In fact - it’s really an un-developed sector on the whole: EV Adventure vehicles. Not SUVs, per se. Not off-roaders. But something practical and roomy, with decent range and the ability to throw all manner of dirty…
If they take off the over-stylized rack and ladder on the side, this thing would give some serious “Honda Element” vibes. Compact yet boxy enough to be useful without being gigantic.
