Hey cool, my comment was featured. It’s too bad I’m still stuck in the greys until someone deems my comment worthy of a reply lol.

This is inherently true - in California the single exemption is that the seller must provide a passing emissions test (if the vehicle is subject to one). You can write whatever you want and have the buyer sign it, but if it fails and the buyer want to push the issue, the seller will lose each and every time.

That’s the key - don’t make any false promises. No express warranty obviously (unless you want to honor it for some reason). Will a “needs nothing -this car will perform perfectly for years to come” statement end in a civil suit on a $3000 beater? Almost certainly not. But on a 5 figure car, it might. And while you

Those awful center screens, perched and demanding your attention. They look aftermarket, already dated and soooo cheap. In the Chinese rental car I had down in Mexico, a version of that same eyesore was already failing - vibrating with a crack in it and randomly turning on the radio.  And the press seems bent on

I mean, brisket isn’t going to be cheap no matter what corners they cut.

but there is no great gas station food IMO

Outliers do exist, but if we’re talking about...dare I say 95% of the population with trucks never really needing them even 25% of the year, I’d say a generalized statement is warranted.

In defense of the Loop,

Yea, that is definitely the case. Not sure where a recall exists in the BK preceding classes though. Maybe they are lucky and get in before creditors but if they are behind that class, they are not getting anything.

Ditto, I’m like, what is Andy trying to circle for us?

I thought someone had done a bad job of circling something in a screenshot with the microsoft snipping tool in that first picture of the interior.

I’m loving the fallout from the used car price collapse.

I think they meant they considered a naturally aspirated version of the previous engine that had 4 turbos on it.

As an ex-pat Brit living in the US for 27 years, they went metric while I was ‘away’ - at some point I went back and people were all talking funny - temperatures were fucked up, weights and measures were fucked up. My US-born daughter is now in college (‘uni’) in London and she has trouble talking to me, trying to

You’re not wrong, they were quad-turbo’d

In equally plausible news, George R.R. Martin’s “The Winds of Winter” is also coming out next week.

Love mine but yes, so much love along with so much hair graying frustration.

Car seats aren’t the problem, it’s the screaming little monsters that sit in them.

I’ve seen people walk into water fountains while looking at phone; at least in this case why would anyone expect a hole to be in a grassy area? Maybe the phone, maybe clouds, maybe looking at the trees. Perhaps the dog went around the hole and pulled him towards it.
