I prefer Mazda’s approach - they just keep old prototypes in a garage and/or showroom.

Since it’s a peltier device, you don’t need to put it in the flow of the exhaust. you can literally put it on the outside of the exhaust and it’ll generate electricity off of how hot the damn exhaust is.

This.

they are whatever moneyed interest wants them to be. cowards.

They really shouldn’t be collecting any PII from an end user. only general vehicle usage; average speed, pedal placement, bluetooth vs radio. small stuff like that I don’t mind them collecting, but coordinate points and addresses or phone logs should be a no no.

Most likely a Nexii panelized system, they’re getting used a lot for small plain boxes like gas stations and fast food outlets. Starbucks now use their system to build a new unit in a matter of days, it’s astonishing to watch. www.nexii.com

There’s a bit of deceit in the “average engineer” driver type of statement. They used different engineers at each track but a couple of them are basically amateur race car drivers vs. the average 55yr old ‘vette buyer who at best took a lap around the neighborhood HOA looking for mailbox violations.

I hate Nazi Musk as much as the next dude, and I dislike CyberTurds plenty, but people suck if they thinking harassing a person over their purchase is even remotely close to acceptable. He wanted attention, clearly, but any hate he gets should be limited to his ostentatious choices, not his barely tenable association

It totally makes sense to gas engine swap a roadster, you can just buy a Lotus Elise which it’s based on as a parts car and then.... Just stop there and drive the Lotus.

Horsepower and range isn’t really correlated like that in an EV the way they are in an ICE. You can’t just decrease the power by half and get twice the range. The range is more about overall weight, motor efficiency, and aerodynamics. If you want more range you’re going to need a larger battery, which will make it

Tigra and Bunny are not impressed.

Not to mention who is going to work in all those factories? They are having a hard enough time meeting employment goals as it is.

$6,000 is a steal. Definitely meets rule of cool requirements as it’s a truck that can do 99% of what truck owners need them to do without weighing 3x as much and getting 1/2 the fuel economy. In better shape than I am and we’re both from 1988. Very nice price.

Not good enough. I just saw a year old EQS 580 SUV, loaded, 5k miles, for $60k something.  Why settle for 12% off when you can get 50%+ off a year old model.

And this is NOT a good thing. Although it is funny how many people think they can drive a 400+ HP car now.

Even more when you start electrifying. A car like the Lucid Air Sapphire is WAAYYYY quicker than any 1990s supercar, but put it in economy mode and most people unfamiliar with it would have no idea whatsoever it runs 8s in the quarter mile.

Singer doesn’t publish a price, but I would wager they haven’t built a car for under a million in at least 5 years.

Nissan is like the online dating profile that says, “I used to be a 7, now I’m a 4, but I still act like I’m a 9.”

Oh oh, and judging other people’s speed. It happens every time I drive short or long distance. Someone will move across a lane ignoring how quickly I’m approaching them, or will pull out of a side road at 14 mph and not notice me doing 50 in a 50 coming at them.

“CYBERTRUCK NEARLY GOT ME KILLED AND TESLA COMPLETELY IGNORING ME, BUT DESPITE THAT SMALL ISSUES ITS BEEN THE BEST VEHICLE IVE EVER OWNED. ELON MUSK BUILDS THE BEST TRUCKS EVER.”
