Pretty much this. Also I would add the less tech the better. And while hybrid/EV’s are the future IMO they will NEVER be a future collectable.  Not that they are bad car’s but that the tech and battery systems are going to be boat anchors on the future value.  A P1 battery replacement is $160k granted those are $2

I was on that pile because of the Takata airbag recall.  For me at least it was because each time I tried to go get it fixed they didn’t have the parts.  Being without a vehicle for a few days isn’t an option for a lot of people.

Also like how is their electric system, while I have never been anytime I have seen something shot there it looks like a giant rats nest of cables. I don’t know if I trust THIS when charging my rickshaw

I got a notification for that LMAO don’t do it Tavarish

Except you would be losing buildings in poorer areas homes with families that might not be able to afford something somewhere else in the area. Adding rail is as hard or harder than adding new roads, because essentially everyone near where it will be built pitch a fit.

There is also the issue that unless it was already there putting in rail specifically involves destroying buildings to get installed, and want to guess where that historically happened, brown areas.

To be fair I would suspect a lot of buyers have no idea where their vehicle is built except maybe folks looking for high 6 figure vehicles.

There was even something in another article here about the tariffs that is the automakers moved all their Canadian production to the states to avoid the 25% tariff, the cost would STILL go up about 20% anyway because of the increased cost of production in the states. Like does it suck that a lot of manufacturing has

Fair I doubt it’s a noise thing there is an airport across the street, and up the road looks to be a big industrial complex.  I suspect it might just be to little use to stay open.

This, it’s not like he was in a 6 figure car.

I wonder is there is something coming down the pike that might make racing there hard to impossible. We had that happen to a dirt track where I live that had been around for decades, people moved nearby knowing full well there was a track started complaining, no more dirt track.  We also had an ex Nascar track south

You know it’s kind of sad/funny for fast Tesla went from being only for the woke hippie crowd with the MAGA crowd constantly shitting on EV’s to now being the brand for al right neo nazi’s, I mean that’s one hell of a 180.

It seems like one of those things they did just because they could, but there is no actual reason or person asking for it. Same with heated screen, IMO but I will say I could see SOMEONE wanting a heated touch screen. I mean shit BMW even put in a huge ass flip down TV for the back seats can we as a people collectively

Mean maybe I guess but like if it’s cold enough for me to be using my heated seats I am wearing a jacket anyway.

I swear Trump is the used car salesmen that the methed out car salesmen at the buy here pay here lot warn you to avoid.

Well some do, there was/is an aftermarket one for the Challangers/Chargers that routes to the air box through the hood.

I mean, to your first point, maybe but I haven’t heard of an issue with any other dash screen. I mean we have kind of hit a point where there just aren’t really any useful features to seemingly add to a vehicle. Like I can not believe a single person on Earth asked for a heated dash.  I mean that’s top of the list for

Agreed, there is no world in which a heated dash, door card and instrument panel is something needed, I mean if you are exclusively driving this at the north/south pole, maybe, but even then it’s a HUGE maybe. I think we have got to a point in luxury vehicles where let’s be honest pretty much any useful feature you

Maybe I just did google translate and from what it told me I assume they were referring to what is now commonly called “YouTube Face”  and while annoying it has been proven to absolutely generate clicks.  Linus Tech Tips IIRC did a 1 to 1 comparison, upload a video 2 different ways, one with the “YouTube Face” smile

Well I have, at home at least, a handful of maybe 6 or 7 creators where I will more or less watch everything they post, and then some others I am subbed to that show up in my feed that I will watch if it sounds like it might be good.
