No quite but close, though to be fair with the times they were running it’s not a super super high HP build. It’s still a small tire build so it’s not a really crazy build. It also doesn’t sound like it has a super lopey cam either, I would be willing to bet you could throw some radials on there and drive it down the

LOL True, but in the 3 or 4 different pizza chains I have worked a solid 75% of the employees were high OR getting high on the job.

Except no automaker that I know of does cell replacement on EV batteries. It’s the ICE equilivent of a water pump failing and replacing the engine. Will that change in the future probably

Oh it’s not that bad, it’s an EDM remix

I got no dog in this fight but I heard a remix of that Kendrick Lamar song on Diplo’s XM station that shit was savage.

And this is 100% a drag car, all be it a small tire drag car.  You can clearly tell it’s turbo’d by the exit pipe in front of the wheel.  So this is really a stock modern fast car v turbo’d built drag car.

murdering my insurance rates and resale value”

Ok so this is a case where movies and TV were actually pretty close to reality lol. That’s about what I had heard/thought. But yeah here in the States where it’s legal for recreational use it’s much more liberal than there. Basically same laws to purchase that we have for alcohol 21 years old up and you can buy.

Wasn’t it something like legal to purchase and use in the coffee shops, and legal to posses, but illegal to like buy from John down the street or just openly smoke it outside of coffee shops?

To be fair you can smell it from a lot further away that you would need to be to catch a buzz from it.

Not to mention the crowds of fans like 3 feet off track lol

I WANT lol but can I put it on a REALLY sketchy panel van.

Keep what the unpopular car colors? No dealer wants inventory just sitting around. The regular automakers, meaning not high end sports/luxury one, long ago realized the vast majority of people are not special ordering their cars so why offer a ton of colors when no one buys them, the exception being Dodge/Jeep.

Agreed, at the end of the day it’s a crap shoot, but at the end of the day if maintained you can keep them running a very very long time, less so with high strung turbo engines. I’m not saying ICE is better across the board, but with them being more “modular” you can get them going piece meal rather than having to do

Exactly the main issue with an out of warranty EV IMO is if the battery goes, the car is totaled pretty much every time. I think going with a modular type battery could help, if one module starts failing swap it out with a new one. Technically you CAN to that on the battery internals of like a Tesla, they use consumer

As other mentioned you’re referring to Moore’s Law, but that doesn’t apply in a situation like this. In this case IMO, it’s a combination of high starting MSRP, and consumer worries about batter longevity, and charging infrastructure.

I have wanted to do something kind of like this to the school busses in the area. They have a slogan that reads “Children First, Always” I want to stick a magnetic sign with the word “Eat” on the beginning of the slogan, Eat Children First, Always

I think it’s the law in just about every state at this point. And no, no one pays attention. That said there are studies that show even hands free calling is a distraction while driving.  Though typically it’s the more brain taxing the conversation the more distracting it is.

It’s because the vast majority of buyers just buy off the lot and don’t special order so they just offer the colors that sell the best off the lot.

It’s not surprising to me he more or less got up to speed, I have long said IMO rally drivers are the GOAT racing drivers. Not a knock against F1 drivers, but driving the speeds that rally driver do on small loose surface roads is nothing short of astonishing.
