I also appreciate that the show was clear that sleeping with people of other races does not ipso facto make one anti-racist. Also known as the Thomas Jefferson Corollary.

We were seperated by gender to avoid awkwardness, but we still watched both videos and had the same discussions. As a result, I knew more about my first boyfriend's body than he did, which was a bit awkward...

They separated us for the period talk in 5th grade. The girls got information and a pamphlet while the boys went outside and played football. They didn't separate us for general sex ed the next year.

This war against women's reproductive rights has got to stop. I don't understand why SCOTUS would allow restrictions in legal commerce.* I also don't know how they see the doctor/patient relationship.

I agree with Mr. Hotchner. There is nothing less American than blatant commercialization.

Why the fuck is this article even on Jezebel? It's not about gender issues, race, etc. Is this now a Harry Potter fan site or something?

This lady's not American but that didn't stop the USPS from putting her on a stamp that will be usable forever.

I'm tempted to run to the post office right now to buy them.

It's very notable that the US Postal Service is featuring people, such as Daniel Radcliffe, who are still living, even if they are playing a fictional character. The only other time that I can recall the USPS featuring living people on a stamp is the 1945 stamp commemorating the Battle of Iwo Jima.

Didn't those damn red coats learn anything last time??? Do we need to teach the English another lesson in how to AMERICA!!!

He makes a fair point. The over-commercialization of stamps is something we should all be concerned about.

Where do they get this crap?

Also, if she truly believed in traditional marriage, she wouldn't be running for office. In traditional marriage, the woman is a doormat/indentured servant who defers to her husband, no?

RIGHT. And don't forget this lil gem, which so daintily points out the "traditional" examples they cling so desperately to, because Bible Sez So.

Re: Liz Cheney. I guess I just don't understand why people think repeating "I believe in traditional marriage" makes a person any less wrong, or any less dickish, or any less homophobic. Saying that over and over isn't an argument, and it isn't a justification.

I remember being separated, with the girls and boys having separate videos to watch. We, the girls, watched both. They told us they didn't show the boys the girl one because they weren't 'mature enough'.

This is my favorite thing ever. I could barely pay attention to the rest of the comments; I just had to keep coming back to watch this gif.

The biggest lie I learned in sex ed is that gender segregation is necessary to teach sex ed. They split the boys and the girls into two different groups and both groups walk away with about half the information they need. I'm against this. Yes, males and females have different anatomies and experience different
