“Insufferable Musk™: The new fragrance by Ralph Lauren.”
You definitely should - it’s an oral history format, i.e. interviews with survivors from all over the globe that include some truly harrowing tales. The geopolitical observations are pretty spot-on. It beats the movie by a mile and is a pretty quick read.
Most of these are popular, some are classics, and some just had some scary scenes. But if this is a list for “scary” movies, than there needs to be another list for actual “terrifying” movies.
What’s your number? Asking for a friend...
Thanks for letting me know about the kids and the niece. I’m an adoptive mom and the bullying is wrong. I’m so sorry to hear that the survivor died ( May she be of blessed memory.)
Mazel!!! We are lucky in that we are living in a time in which medical treatment allows for survival rates like ours (granted there’s still a long way to go). If I were able to tap into the part of my brain that would give me the level of focus Mr. Boseman possessed, I could run the world.
You know what I love the most about this article? It pays attention to us single women in our 40s.
Maria, thank you - from an adoptive mom - for treating this subject fairly and not jumping on the villagers with torches bandwagon just because you can. One of the things outsiders frequently miss about the larger world of adoption is the idea that no one should knowingly take on a child they cannot care for. When my…
Not all boomers - (is this a good time?).
I’m sorry that your daughter has to go thru this and that you, as a parent, can’t drag that kid out of the school by his collar and leave him on the sidewalk. I hope that at her next school the admin is more responsive/proactive about kids’ safety and that she can get some distance from this kid if she feels unsafe…
Especially when paired with leg warmers.
This news just in: This is not solely a Boomer issue. There are a shitload of younger “woke” folk out there who are just as ignorant (if not more) as their elders.
i literally bring an empty bag overseas with me just so i can bring back good chocolate candy.
Well done, then. Congrats for being so level-headed and no doubt handling the raising of your child with similar good judgment and skill. : )
People are always so shocked when they meet my son and I and ask about my husband. My go-to line now is “A wedding ring does not make a baby.” 😁
My standard reply to “Why aren’t you married?” is “I have yet to SEE a marriage that makes me want to BE married.” Even the “good” ones seem like they’re more trouble than they’re worth (that’s how it looks to me, at least).
aww, makes me so happy to see young girls looking up to Malala.
There are so many parts to aging that I appreciate. Right now I’m struggling a bit with the hot flashes and the feeling that there’s more behind than ahead. But also fairly satisfied with how the behind is holding up. And the ahead is still leading from a somewhat high altitude. lol.
That was the day I left Pantsuit Nation. Way to take advantage of your fellow women.
