It is a-fucking-stounding how many otherwise intelligent, well-educated people will swallow fad bullshit cures like a cat swallows sardines. In the case of parents of autistic children, I understand their desperation, but as you yourself pointed out, there's a hell of an inconsistency. And let's forget the

Why is there no way to flag spam here?`

I will only say this:

Oh, you were an independent contractor so you feel their pain huh? Did you job tell you how to wash your dick, balls, and the crack of your ass? Did you job require you to do 30 UNPAID appearances? Did you job make you do those 30 unpaid appearances, 3 different camps for girls in 3 different cities, golf tournaments,

I'm with you that gassing on the Internet is not taking action. But I see (presumably) guys chortling all the time "Cross-post this on Jezebel! Let's watch them scream!" As if commenters on Deadspin don't gas and get worked up over stuff. As if commenters at Kotaku don't get into fights. As if lots and lots of web

This might be one of the most irresponsible blogs I've ever read. Bandits are a Boston Marathon tradition. Thousands run bandit every year because they're just regular people with jobs who don't have the time to train to run a sub 3 hour marathon. I've run Boston 3 times as a bandit, but my time of 3:20 doesn't come

Yes, because without a detailed rulebook that helpfully explains how to wash your vagina and avoid "strong opinions" (mouthy chicks are such a drag!) dem bitches just irrationally explode over the most trivial things, like being told it's not okay to think or speak, jumping up and down in front of old men without pay,

Actually, the list of job requirements, include the hygiene and behavioral codes, is directly tied to whether these ladies were employees, independent contractors or volunteers. Employment law arcana, maybe, but definitely relevant to the legal case. I think the level of detail, particularly vis-a-vis firing

I love the name Emily Goodhand... because "Emily Goodhead" would have been too obvious.

This is exactly it. This. I don't actually care that I am the least "performant" of anybody in my "fitbit circle" (or whatever it is).

I sit at my desk, at home, for my job. I have a family. I don't have a tremendous amount of free time to just "exercise" (nor do I have many opportunities to even get up and walk).

Counterpoint:

"Childlike people unable to appreciate the inherent value of sweat, pain, or strength wear the Fitbit as they work out"

I could have had a V8.

I don't think that HRH Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge really have to worry about the cost of a car seat.

It's such a myth that kids are uncomfortable in positions that adults would find "cramped". Kids are way more flexible than adults. Have you ever seen how a classroom full of kindergarteners sitting at story time?

My thing is they have *all the money* to pay people to figure this stuff out for them. They don't even need to think about it. Heck, Britax even offered to send one of their top people to help them with their infant seat.

Also, you can get carseats that are more in-tune with your own child's height and weight. Different seats have different specs and if you know your kid is above/below average you find a carseat that fits their body type without just throwing all the safety rules out the window and deciding your are a special snowflake

Isn't George, like, not even one? And and someone wants to forward-face him? Juddddddging.
