I don’t care about the context, this is inappropriate and unacceptable. You want to joke about this kind of shit in teh teacher’s lounge that’s one thing. Taking time to make up a certificate, sign it, and present it is quite another.

The teachers’ lounge is the one place in a school where the adults can go and ‘joke’ about how shitty the kids generally are.. it’s their safe place. And everything outside of that should revolve around the children. That’s how a school works, or at least is supposed to. This was nothing short of evil.

That’s the rationalization that a lot of people in inter-racial ( I hate that term) relationships have, ESPECIALLY White people. In most dealings with other ethnicity they seem to think them socializing or being with a poc gives them a free pass to do or say certain things. Its annoying.
