I'm on my phone so i can't find good links for you, but there are a few good articles in The Stranger about the abusive and manipulative tactics of the church. Give it a Google; is pretty stomach turning. And having known people who fled there, I can at least anecdotally attest to the harm it could have on former

Storytown coffee, i believe. I avoid them like the plague.

And your desk turned sideways! Better eat some broccoli.

Ugh, Driscoll. His church was in my neighborhood. As a good mainline Protestant at a tiny nearby congregation, I tried not to gloat too much about his implosion.

That's a really interesting point.

That was essentially Mike Pence's explanation for converting from Catholicism to Evangelical Protestantism.

you, too, would practically have an orgasm watching some crappy break-dancing at the facsimile of a rock concert

I've lived in Seattle for most of the last ten years, excepting three in DC. So hard to find affordable lunch teriyaki anywhere in the District. You had to go to a fucking Asian fusion place and pay a shit ton of money.

Luisa's on Crown Hill is pretty good. And there were a surprising number of legit Mexican places in Bellingham, where I lived for several years.

Kickin' Boot is my second-favorite BBQ place in the neighborhood. Check out Boar's Nest on 56th and 20th in Ballard. It's a hole in the wall, relatively cheap, but it's got fucking awesome pulled pork and other meats. Sauces are legit. Sides are awesome, too, though my wife thinks the collareds are too salty.

She also recognizes Barb in another picture, I think. And she has a sad look on her face when she sees her.

The cleanest!

I always knew Barsanti was in the pocket of Big Grapefruit.

You shut your beautiful bastard mouth, Barsanti.

Our trivia team was The Learned Heads.

And I seem to remember they didn't quite get the description right in the show. As confident as Dustin seemed, I thought he was going to start talking about declination and magnetic north vs. true north.

Exactly! I was much more affected by his demise than Barb's. I liked that guy.

Hey, I said it wasn't a well-developed theory.

Oh yeah, thanks. I forgot about that.

And how did Elle escape Hawkins Lab in the first episode, anyway? I can't remember if they showed that. Makes me think she can phase in and out of the Upside-Down, kind of like Will at the end of the season.
