I bought a lot of my harder-to-find RPG books from Waldenbooks at the mall about 45 minutes from my childhood home. Star Wars RPG, Shadowrun, and the rarer AD&D books just weren't available in my rural town, and this was the mid-90s, so we couldn't order any of them online.

He was saying "Boooo-thlehem!"

(Not a dev either, but I work in data security consulting)

Hey, you have the super sketchy Jack in the Box on Aurora. And Ballard used to have a BK, and still has a Wendy's (that I used to live right next door to) and a KFC.

Yeah, I didn't quite buy that, either. Saviors had significant force overmatch and the good guys' ability to lay down suppressive fire was minimal. Good thing I've mostly given up on TWD for realism on that kind of stuff.

Agreed about doctor Denise. The show is finally building characters that we care about. It's a sign, to me, at least, that the show is maturing.

On your feet!

No worries, man. I'm sorry that you're having a rough patch.

I'm surprised someone in this thread hasn't mentioned that HE STOPS HAVING SEX WITH HER IF SHE ASKS HIM TO DO SOMETHING BESIDES HIS FAVORITES. Fucking seriously? That is the finishing stitch on the shit bag. Withholding affection/sex/love because he doesn't get his way?

tough but sensitive and smart

I like what Seth Gilliam is doing with the material. But all the "I'm here to stay" and promises that he is part of the group FOREVER NOW come across as either disingenuous or trying a little too hard, so I'm not a big fan of the character. The Bible verses were pretty badass, though.

Reminded me of that moment in the Manos: Hands of Fate episode of MST3K. DO SOMETHING!!

And Emma Stone as Asia Carrera

"[Michael Ian black] is the male Ellen Degeneres"

I actually wonder if he'll just use his natural accent and have that be the point of tension between him and Susannah. A class thing instead of a race thing.

In Mosul in 2005, we were out on a foot patrol and one of the guys in my squad starts complaining that he has an "evil bubble" - an impending case of the shits. He's bugging our squad leader every few minutes: "Sarn't, I really need to shit." But stopping to shit in the middle of the city is kind of a no-go. You have

Sad I missed this thread! I was an enlisted Army grunt from 2004-2006. Have some pretty funny stories.
