We foster as well, so no apologies necessary, I get it 1000%! That looks like just an amazing dog you fostered there! The heeler mix in the photo is our former foster dog, now our actual dog - after 3 years of fostering dogs, we foster “failed” and adopted him.

I find myself looking at out of state job listings in Mr. Cheese’s field quite a bit - he’s a chef, so I’m like, although I don’t really want to leave Colorado, if there was a really great chef opportunity in a smaller city with cheaper housing costs, I could see us moving anyway. My husband knows someone who works (worked?) in their kitchen and apparently they are on track to reopen in April. Fingers crossed, that is one of the only redeeming things about that area.
