Yea, I used to work in Cherry Creek North and that was basically the only free parking around that area. I don’t know what people who work there now are doing. Maybe going to Steve Madden to get their parking validated? We live in University Hills so the highway is convenient for us and it’s easier to get to Park

I have a lot of friends that have moved because they are being priced out. It is starting to feel like you can’t live in Denver if you are middle income. I don’t know how people with kids do it.

Yea, I think that is where most of the frustration is coming from. According to my friends from the east coast, charging for parking at a mall is super common, but here, nobody does that, and a lot of people hate how quickly Denver has changed. I was born and raised in a Denver suburb, and it has been really weird to

The year that Park Meadows opened, my school newspaper sent all of us middle school aged reporters on a field trip to the mall opening day to write stories about it. We had an entire issue of the school newspaper just about the grand opening of that mall. Those were the days, lol.

Agree 100%.

I grew up near Park Meadows, so I am more of a Park Meadows fan myself, but I hope they don’t bulldoze Cherry Creek for more ugly luxury apartments - Denver has plenty of those IMO, and I am way over how everything in Denver seems to be going that way. I can’t really see myself shopping there either though, if they

Yea, apparently the charging for parking is really hurting them, if the sheer volume of articles I’ve seen lately about store owners being upset about losing business is any indication.

Yep, and a mall that is within 30 minutes of 2 nicer malls with free parking.

Yea, that mall is kind of terrible anyway, even without having to pay to park there. Not really sure why they though charging for parking was a good idea though, with Park Meadows like less than 30 minutes away.

I haven’t been down there in a bit because we don’t live near there anymore, but that sounds really aggravating. Personally I’ve always been more of a Park Meadows fan for the rare occasion I find myself needing to go to a mall.

I feel like the Cheery Creek Mall in Denver will go the way of the dinosaurs sooner rather than later as well. It seemed like it was doing actually pretty well, and then they decided to start charging for parking and now everyone is mad and saying they won’t shop there on principle.

My cousin and her husband are both lawyers and had pretty great maternity/paternity leave benefits.

When I woke up this morning, I forgot it was Friday and thought I had somehow missed Shade Court this week.

This is the “smile” i make when this one creepy sleaze ball I work with walks by my desk and tells me to smile, sweetheart. It’s my Go Fuck Yourself smirk, and so every time I see Trump doing it, I get this distinct feeling that he is telling America to Go Fuck Ourselves.

Naming a dog ironically is the best.

Just as a suspected - petting this dog would be similar to petting a cloud <3

My bad, thought I replied to your original pic of the dog in blankets, lol. But I do like shibas a lot! They are adorable little terrorists!

LOL are you secretly Mr. Cheese? Because this is literally my life.

He is the only one with a nerdy person name because it really suits his personality. Our other pets are Nibbles (the alaskan husky from the pic), Indiana Bones (he’s a heeler pit mix), and Danger Cat (but he’s really tiny and tough and all the dogs are rightfully scared of him so it’s an appropriate name). That said,
