I haven’t even seen it yet, and I feel like I know more about Avatar 2 than Jimmy Cams himself.

I love the first one, but it does feel worse in light of the sequel being so much better. I’d say give it a shot, it explains some of the things that come up in 2 (sort of) and will no doubt come up again in 3, and it has a few great scenes worth seeing. However, you can absolutely skip it if you want.

2022 is absolutely going on my list for all-timer years in horror. Terrifier 2 in particular captured my imagination in a way no burgeoning slasher franchise has in a very long time, and I couldn’t be happier that it was such a runaway success.
