I watched a bunch of fans give Serj Tankian shit for supporting the protests last week on Facebook. I had jokingly commented that they were going to go complain to Zack de la Rocha about it... I wasn’t far off, it seems. 

Gah, I’m so sick of having the internal art vs. artist debate about famous people I used to like.

I seriously got excited for a second, then hugely let down. I really want a movie about Klaus Nomi. 

Okay, good trailer, I’m cautiously optimistic. I’m just still not convinced that what made the originals special can be recaptured in 2020. On the other hand, seeing modern Keanu slip back into Ted-isms is pretty damn excellent. 

Jumped on this immediately. Can’t donate much, but anything’s better than nothing, and 742 indie games is a pretty, pretty, pretty sweet bonus. Just skimming the list, I immediately see some established good games and a bunch that look very interesting. 

That’s what I would think! There’s got to be a whole alternate universe of shelved but playable games out there, all representing endless man hours. I’d be frustrated if they *didn’t* leak after all that work. 

Oh nice! I love when abandoned games (or abandoned builds, in this case) see the light of day. I’m still holding out hope that the early Duke Nukem Forever builds find their way to us.

Glad they ordered the independent autopsy. We all knew the first one was bullshit, but still good to have that confirmed. Now if only the “official” report would lead to some consequences... no examiner who would lie on a report should remain in that line of work.

Welp, this will take a long time to try to forget. I know the rule of thumb about bug parts in food and all, and it’s never bothered me. But I have a crippling phobia of maggots in particular and I’m quite fond of strawberries. As illogical as it is, I am really going to struggle to eat fresh strawberries from now on. 

Holy hell, even as a white guy, I immediately get phantom tastes of saltines and mayo just looking at her. If she doesn’t own something with “Live laugh love” printed on it, I’ll be stunned.

I skipped over this because it looked like every other “page 49 of search results for horror on Amazon Prime” space filler movie, but I have to admit, I’m intrigued. Still sounds stupid, but half of being a horror fan is watching terrible shit. 

LDR is kinda like Grimes for me: I really, really like her music (well, in LDR’s case, her first two albums, before the “I like the 60s and also I say fuck sometimes” angle wore thin), but she seems insufferable outside of that.

I’m pretty into the idea of various Skarsgards playing King villains, I can’t lie. 

I’ve heard good things about Mystery Inc., but this sold me. 

I have zero faith in the franchise at this point, but I’m willing to get my hopes up a little here. 

No worries, Dark Shadows won’t win you over on that front. It’s very much “one of those”, just a bit better. The kind of movie that would have been a perfect “Fuck it, the cover looks interesting” rental had it come out twenty years earlier.
