I’m a karaoke junkie, and I quickly learned which songs I can reliably do to get a positive response no matter how well or poorly I’m performing that night. Dr. Dre and Eminem’s “Forgot About Dre”, Tenacious D’s “Tribute”, and System of a Down’s “Sugar”.

I really like it. It’s not perfect by any means, but her style fits extremely well with the metal sound.

Not sure what games did to hurt you, but I’m sure they didn’t mean it.

Shame that it’s not simply an obsessively detailed and accurate depiction of the lifespan of a walrus.

I’ve heard it exactly once when it first blew up, but the little snatch of the chorus that I remember has been intermittently stuck in my head ever since and I’ve come to loathe it for that despite actually sort of liking it when I heard it.

Yeah, other than the ridiculous space wraparound story, I actually really like 4. (well, okay, I like the ridiculous space stuff too)

Good call!

He looks like Tom Green on the cover art, and it’s weirding me out.

At this point, I seriously want a study done to find what the link is between racist shitbags and the lack of a chin. I’d theorize that chins are secretly power centers of empathy, but there are too many exceptions to the rule in either direction. Perhaps chins sometimes recede back into the skull like “I want nothing

I’m no scienceman, but it seems to me that it would be easier to just sequence a regular squid and then add “... but way bigger” to all of their findings.

Now playing

“You ain’t keepin’ it REAH! You ain’t representin’!” I’ve never even seen Double Take, but that delivery has stuck with me for 20 years now.

Exactly how I feel about my newly purchased CDs I rammed into my head.

I’m just impressed that they didn’t go for a slow minor key piano cover of “Are You That Somebody?”.

Wait, seriously? This is the sort of show you hear about being in development hell for years before being unceremoniously dumped and finding a permanent spot on “Weird TV show adaptations that never happened” lists. Crazy that it’s actually getting made.

Yeah, the Superstar fans are ravenous.

Not “No Dwayne, No Gain”? “The Scorpion Prince”? “Walking Short”? “Calvin & Hobbs & Shaw”?

Thanks for that, it’s something I’ve been chewing on myself lately. I used to be that kind of white person, thinking I was woke because I “don’t see color”, “we’re all the same”, etc. etc. Looking back on that, that mindset is just as harmful as being actively racist. Road to hell, good intentions, and all that.

I’d have been disappointed with anything less than this or at least a thirty paragraph essay, haha.

Exactly how I feel, not a fan of Rush, but I can’t deny their status as legends.

“McMillions”? Not “Monopo-LIES”? What are they paying these people for!?
