Yep, great binge-watch.
Baynton was also great as a character quite different from Sam in the short-lived (and enjoyable) series Spy, another British import brought to us by Hulu.
Yes, this everything-must-look-like-Pinterest shit is beyond annoying. The new interface on this site is making me want to run away and never come back.
Normally I'd agree with you, but those two (the actors and the characters) have such solid screen chemistry that it seems unavoidable.
Chris Fucking Messina. That is all.
AND why weren't any of them wearing Kevlar?
Every week Joe LoTruglio is more and more full of win.
I love Max's dating criteria:
Interesting! The more you know… (shooting stars).
Barney Miller meets Parks and Rec. :-)
LoTruglio killed it this week. I adore him.
A little Samberg goes a loooooong way with me, but the rest of the cast balances him out and then some. Truly. It's worth watching.
Ew, really? I'm a life-long Philly-area resident and I have never heard the word used in that way. Why did someone have to go and ruin one of the most delicious foods ever by tying it to something racist?
Dammit! I was hoping for Gilmore Girls. I still go back and read the Newsradio ones from time to time.
He seemed like the main focus of season two, so I'm okay with him taking a back seat for a while. And he had some very funny stuff this week.
I love DWJ (RIP, Happy Endings), LOVE, but my opinion is that, other than this week's episode, they haven't done a good job of writing enough decent stuff for Lamorne Morris to do. I wanted them to fix that before adding another lead character into the mix (male or female, black or white). I'm also frustrated that…
Secor 2013!
Yeah, but I ding M&M points because on the other end they have the stereotypical "wise-cracking, truth-talking older black woman." That show has a few stellar performers (who deserve better), but the overall writing is still that of an old-school sitcom, and often downright hacky and cringe-inducing..
Much as I love DWJ, the character feels a bit superfluous at this point. Lamorne Morris is the one who makes me laugh by doing just the simplest things. They actually came up with some really good stuff for him this week. IMO, season three is The Season of Winston!
