I had a moment of horror last year when I realized that I owned a pair of Ivanka Trump shoes. They were fairly plain black kitten heels that I had had for 4 years or so. Of course I immediately had to throw them in the trash. I just...couldn’t wear them anymore.

Crocs has better looking shoes than that monstrosity above.

She truly has her father’s mouth, doesn’t she? In every sense of the word.

“...alongside the boardroom buzzwords “relevant stakeholders,”..”

This is particularly egregious because she removed a FUNCTIONAL PART OF THE SHOE.

Yes, because even just collecting data on this topic is bad. Forget analyzing it or proposing changes, even HAVING it would be disastrous. This should come as no surprise from people who are relentlessly anti - education. The less information, the better.

I fucking hate everybody in this administration and I can’t wait for them to live out the rest of their lives in disgrace.

My 77 year old FIL, a military guy, Republican, NRA member is disgusted with the last two. He feels the current Republican philosophy has nothing to do with his ethics; hasn’t been in the last 30 years. He also tore up his NRA card and wrotthat he wants nothing to do with them and that this current iteration is a

It’s something I’ve noticed, particularly with this disaster. Trump has an inability to recognize the humanity of anyone. He does not see actual people, nor can he recognize their experience. YOU GUYS, I just found out my republican brother-in-law and his wife (our only family members we considered SANE) totally, completely and utterly support Trump. They think no one is giving him a chance, all Dems are obstructionists and he is awesome. They are private plane wealthy and live in a rural town. Our mutual

“Later, spotting a crowd of people, he said “What a crowd!” and “What a turnout!”

And cue the tea parties complaining about “legislatin from the bench!”...whatever that means. In the interim, I will point and laugh at Sarah Palin, who is politically irrelevant.

The rest of the elite disaster-response team walks resolutely across the tarmac:

Trump’s outfit is fine. Melania’s choice in footwear is the opposite of fine. For reference, here’s Obama in his disaster surveying gear. Of all the things he’s done related to Harvey, his choice of clothes is far and away the least offensive.

The threat of nuclear fallout is something I learned in school during the ends of the cold war. Seems Trump wants us to be back in that “great” state of perpetual war.
