Natural red in hair is more or less forever. It dims, but doesn’t gray nearly as fast as other haircolors. The blonde in his hair may well be gray, but the red is still there. I tried to bleach my hair white blonde once...the result was white hair with lots of red strands intact. So, pinkish hair.
