Making this tragedy about yourself is offensive. It is NOT significant that most of the protestors are male. Most of the protestors likely have white women at home, backing up all this bullshit just like they did when they were emboldened before:

He campaigned with Arpaio multiple times and has called him a great American. And Arpaio is in many ways one of the authoritarian figures like Putin loves, people who are everything Trump isn’t but wishes he was.

As someone who works in DC and knows a lot of people who work in government, that idea of a massive conspiracy that doesn’t ever get disclosed is just laughable.

He also floated the idea of pardoning Joe Arpaio just after these comments. He’s signalling as clearly as possible that he is still willing to go to bat for Nazis and white supremacists.
