I’m very sorry you’re going through all this. I had problems with my employer who fired me for shady reasons. I filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and was able to get some money through arbitration. And I have a feeling because of that they didn’t challenge my unemployment application.

Hi everybody! I’m drinking peach vodka and club, watching the Olympics. I set my alarm today so I could get up in time to see steeplechase, my favorite Olympic event, and I saw that runner with the shoe issue. Remarkable, running with one bare foot, trying to make up for the time she lost.

After years of lurking and cheering, crying and grumping with you all... I hope this isn’t the last SNS.

My talent is cookie decorating. I’m miles away from the amazing stuff that other people do, but it’s so stress relieving and tasty.

Oldfogeybadger and I are on schedule with our wedding/BBQ plans. Everything is coming together nicely and we aren’t freaking out yet. We even have Jordan almonds and custom drink coozies for the occasion ;-) Wedding is Thursday and BBQ is Saturday.

I’ve been volunteering at a museum for just over a year, and yesterday I floated the idea to my boss that I might be interested in a paid position if there was something she thought I’d be qualified for. She was thrilled at the idea and encouraged me to apply to everything they have open.
