It’s probably the “sorry I got caught” type of remorse.

Okay, if you are living the Dynasty life, then it works!
Yep. My proposal was basically “Wanna get married?” We courthoused it, and we both have plain band rings. That’s just us. I am happy to squeal with joy for friends who want big weddings and stuff, but that’s not my personal jam.
I would hurt myself and other people with that thing, daily.
Absolutely.
Good, I think he said it well.
Maybe. But maybe it was such a non-issue, no one felt the need to talk about it.
Right. And I do understand George Takei wanting his Sulu to be THE Sulu, but making a new character gay would not carry the same weight as an iconic original character being gay.
Yes, I said as much in another post. This is not about Clinton using good ideas, it’s about Sanders acting like only his ideas are good.
I’m going with “Sulu was not closeted, he just didn’t bring his personal life to work.”
I wish you luck in creating your ideal of a future president with magic powers.
Oh, child.
Sure, I’ll let you know. It’s not like Clinton ever thought of healthcare before, but maybe some helpful pixie will sprinkle that Sanders stardust into her dreams.
“Humidity is set on ‘fuck’.”
I feel like there’s one nominee, no matter how close the vote seems, emotionally.
Hmm, no. If Clinton had lost the nomination, but insisted on “pushing” Sanders or the platform in her preferred direction, she would be roundly criticized.
I’m afraid, considering the claims being made about “protest votes”, that the party platform wasn’t everyone’s goal.
We disagree.
I expect good people to offer advice to the group they are working with, and for a good leader to consider advice from other people. I do not expect the runner-up to refuse to step out of the spotlight.
Bernie did have some good ideas, and there’s nothing wrong with Democrats taking good ideas, from anyone, and incorporating them into the platform. The problem is with a candidate who did not win the nomination behaving as if he is as relevant as the one who did.
