You’re skepticism is warranted.  The only reason I think they will maybe follow through is that have already started on the road to inevitable impeachment and they will want as much evidence as they can get to support that vote.

I call BS. I travel overseas constantly for work and have been to 20+ countries in the last 3 years. The only country that ever asked for that is Russia. Most countries don’t even ask US citizens for a visa. The ones that do mostly offer e-visas you can do online.
