I can't wait not to see this.

Thank you (also to Docteur Lobo and Wynstone). Based on those answers, now I understand why true Trek fans were so disappointed by the JJ Abrams films. (Especially the second one.)

Serious question - As someone who has only seen random Star Trek television shows (of the various incarnations) and random Start Trek movies, what is it you like about Star Trek that differentiates it from Star Wars? Is it because Star Trek is more focused on exploration?

Agreed (on both points). Every once in a while I think about the "5 people you'd like to have dinner with" hypothetical scenario and he definitely makes the cut for my list.

I cannot get behind a "Great Job, Wikipedia!" sentiment (even though I understand the basis…) until the AV Club page is updated to mention the commentariat.

Pffff. I'm not a zoologist or an engineer. How was I supposed to know that an air-tight package was a bad choice? I figured it'd keep the air - which the rat needed - in the box - where the rat was located.

Also true.

True. Perhaps I shouldn't have sent her that live rat.

Why didn't Carrie Fisher ever give me that advice???

The performances? There are usually a couple of actors or actresses who do an outstanding job in every season. I think Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare, and (to a lesser extent) Finn Wittrock are killing it this season.

I think Pornhub is full of them. (See, you just need to know where to look!)

*pictures Christina Hendricks watching Twin Peaks*

Anyone know if Christina Hendricks has anything to do with Twin Peaks? (I just think she's a very talented actress is the only reason I'm asking.)

Stories like these are making me question why I keep coming back.

Obama.

Hey, this totally sounds like an American movie classic to me.

If Apple was smart, the company would base their next iPhone update on this.

I watch them with the sound off.

I'd hate to be that fact checker…
