The accussed admitted she told him to stop a few times but there was no direct quote of her words given by him that she affirmed as being exactly what she said, so yeah, the unfortunate truth is that we don’t know precisely what was said.

That’s what I’m getting from it. Obviously we don’t know what she or he said specifically in the interviews, we only have the Dean’s reactions to their statements, and without knowing what exactly she says happened, it’s hard to know if the Dean’s interpretation had any sort of valid rationale behind it.
