One pieces in general are way too can-flattening for me, to be honest!!! I end up looking like a 5 year old at a swim meet

Stuff like this is why I love you, Ellie.

I mean, as Jewel said: “As a feminist, I can’t support everything that’s being said tonight, but as somebody who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”

Normally I’d be against the relentless abuse of a dumb animal, but I’m ok in Ann Coulter’s case.

“A monster of a human being. The worst person I’ve ever worked with in my life.” - I don’t know, that sounds kind of generous.

I volunteered as a rape crisis counselor for 6 years. For sure, I can guarantee that the memories of the victims don’t fade.

Marital rape has only been illegal in all fifty States for 20 years now. So yeah... that’s our starting point.

“People are starting to realize rape is a serious crime... It does not happen by accident. It’s a conscious decision by a rapist. The victim should always have the opportunity to come forward.”

Counterpoint: Scott DesJarlais, the Republican congressman from Tennessee who is anti-abortion except when he wants his mistress to get one is still in Congress. Spoiler alert: he endorsed Trump.

See, this is what corruption looks like. For real. Straight-up bribery and illegal donations and shit.

I hate to be that guy, but politics has always been like this in our country. Always. It’s just that the internet brings it into everyone’s home and sadly, it sometimes amplifies the voice of the looniest among us in a way newspapers couldn’t. But even back in the day, it was very similar: In 1800, John Adams said

You. May. Be. On. To. Something. There.😜

Only going to become more and more common with so much of the country deciding that 4chan rhetoric politics is apparently an acceptable GOP platform.

“Some critics contend that such “non-elective” surgeries are wasteful and dangerous.”

Celsius. Not Fahrenheit.

Ann Coulter bombed and Phyllis Schlafly died. What a weekend!

Jewel’s response is lovely:
