I think this guy is full of crap and trolling. I’m a diver and I don’t know anybody who dives with a Submariner (except one rich leisure diver). It’s all Citizen and Seiko (and me with my cheap but reliable Timex).
A wrist watch is great way to figure out how much time is left in a boring meeting, too. Much more subtle than pulling out your phone. Another win for the watches.
Hi. Diver here. I use a Timex Atlantis. Not $10, but close enough at $30 last time I bought one (I’ve lost two so far - not due to the depths, but due to misplacing them). Handles the pressure just fine.
The quality does not go up. The value does. Unless you have infinite dollars, the fun per dollar factor is important.
How dare he allocate his finite financial resources as he sees fit! HOW DARE HE!
That actually happens, at least in NY and at least once. And the owner didn’t go apply to get them back, the spouse did (and I now have the firearms trigger-locked and stored away in my closet)
You replied to the wrong post, champ.
If it’s so bad don’t buy the damned thing in the first place.
Hey, I worked fast food and none of us were stupid enough to blame the customer for our conditions. We knew it was management, and that’s who we took our frustrations out on. In fact, we did that by giving the customers free food sometimes (cramming 24 nuggets into a 20 nugget box, stacking two burgers on top of each…
“He will be there, but he should not be.”
I don’t see what makes those ideas mutually exclusive.
That doesn’t really make sense to me.... Going from “Some kid snuck in, so we have to defend against a gun-toting madman in body armor” is a pretty far leap. It would be like a restaurant saying “Well, last week a kid with a baseball broke the window so now we need to install three-inch thick bulletproof glass in case…
Even if insurance pays out, the insurer will try and figure out who they can recoup the cost of paying the claim from. So if there was an insurance policy, the plaintiffs might get sued anyway.
Insurance companies don’t just pay out and walk away. They go after anyone and everyone who could possibly be responsible to try and recoup their costs.
Ok, so what about a big company vs. a little one. What if the theater had been a locally owned place that showed old classics for $3 a ticket? Not as much revenue, but should they be as culpable as Cinemark?
First we’re going to need a chart from you showing that your question is worth addressing, another chart showing why we should care, a third chart to prove you’re an actual person and nor a poorly-written chat bot, and after all that a chart showing that most protagonists aren’t white.
Florida has various gator shows around the state. It usually involves some form of ‘gator wrestling’ and often includes the wrestler holding the gator’s jaw open and sticking his head in it’s mouth.
Next thing you know, these maniacs will be adjusting the A/C and scratching their itches as they drive! MADNESS!
I sounds like a place where poets and troubadours go to seek inspiration.
