I’ve seen this reported around the place, and it’s all clickbait. If you look at their stock price over the last year, 3 months, or even the last month, this “drop” is indistinguishable from noise. The price right now is far higher than it was at the end of march. Why do none of these publications take a moment to

He wasn’t denied boarding. He had already boarded and had a seat. This section is not relevant to his situation. Once he is on board they need to find something from section 21 to throw him off.

United have an explicit contract that specifies when they can throw you off the plane. Check Rule 21 and find for me the justification they could have used.

I don’t think that is correct. Check out the Contract of Carriage. There are two sections, 25 and 21 that are relevant to this. 25 deals with bumping customers from flights, but before they have boarded section 21 deals with reasons for which they can remove you from the flight. I can’t find anything in this section

Bacterial spores are dehydrated, so I’d be willing to bet a dollar that sub zero temperatures don’t do anything worth writing home about to rice.

You can take Gizmodo out of Gawker, but you can’t take Gawker out of Gizmodo.

It is policy that the NSA does not collect bulk data on US citizens, so don’t bother with encryption.

Because this seems to be the only way people can rationalise losing. Nevermind that the LP has been courting conservatives for decades. These people believe that every vote for Gary rightfully belonged to Clinton.

I get that people are angry and lash out in whatever direction. But unless Gary was taking 4 votes from democrats to every 1 republican vote, he didn’t change the election. I’ve spoken to people on Gary’s campaign before, they said they were getting republicans to democrats at about 3:1. If Gary hadn’t been in the

Gawker’s not dead, it’s surely aliiive.

He could spend $300 on a suit, get it tailored at and would look better than what he is wearing now. He’s likely spending much more than that now.

My university has a bunch of stuff going on in regards to eccentric exercise. I’m actually taking part in a PhD study on the effect of eccentric cycling vs concentric cycling on a number of performance and biomarkers.

My imagination is already forever ruined. When I imagine Socrates and Plato walking around Athens, I imagine two white stone things lumbering around.

I’ve had a Chromebook for two years now, I use it for university mostly without issue. Though this semester I did put Crouton on it to run Ubuntu in a chroot because of certain software requirements in my statistics class. Though against the spirit of the Chromebook, being able to instantly switch to Ubuntu is

Too OP, needs to be nerfed.

Yeah, I only get to pick one telephony app and one messaging app.

I think it’s great, the capital moves where the labour is cheapest, once conditions improve sufficently in a country through that investment, then they will be forced to restructure their economy with more skilled and specialised jobs. Then the poorer countries get their time to pull themselves up from the bottom.

Yes, it was patriotism that caused Trump to build Trump Hotel where it stands, rather than having the 400 ft structure built in China and sent over by boat.

The US currently manufactures more then it ever has in history, but mechanization means it is possible to do it with very little labor input.

Don’t turn your back, don’t look away, and don’t blink.
