I had an uncle whose last name was Gay...when personal email first became a thing, Yahoo used to send him tons of daily spam offers for gay men (“go rafting on the Colorado river with 8 nubile young men!”). He thought it was hilarious.

I played FF7 for the first time in 2017 when it came to Steam, after 20 years of hearing how good it is. So I told my friend, a huge FF7 fan, that I just started and had just left Midgar.

Wow, Bioware released both in the same year? That’s crazy! No wonder Jade Empire felt overshadowed so much by later Bioware games. Read more

I miss the free games on Origin! I played Jade Empire and Mass Effect thanks to those, just...10-15 years after their release :P

It had a bigger screen, pad and buttons than the GB color, didn’t it? For an older user, that could be a big asset when you don’t need fancier graphics. Also it’s easier to replace AA batteries than AAA when your hands shake.

Bokuben is terrific! It’s the only show this year that I made sure to watch weekly. I didn’t mind the anime ending, but I didn’t love it either. It felt generally unfulfilling compared with the adorable ending to season 1.

I think that they looked at the low number of preorders and decided that it wouldn’t be at all profitable to do what they promised, so they just threw the devs under the bus instead of the truth.

I agree, both are fine games that I play regularly, but Dragalia Lost just puts so much more effort into their events and quality of life, it’s honestly a real shame that the game doesn’t do better. I suspect that 1 reason their profits aren’t higher is that they are so generous that players don’t really need to buy Read more

If the issue is specifically bringing new kids into the world, how about adoption as an option? That is, if both of them are willing to raise children, this way you could still start a family without adding to the human population.
