Once again, like on every year end list Doom Patrol is forgotten.

I always felt Avery Brooks’ delivery was wooden, and that he would’ve done better playing a Vulcan. These days I’m pining for Avery Brooks. He didn’t tear up at the mention of somebody else’s feelings, at the very least. Stewart is a classically trained actor, so of course he’d be the standout when it comes to

On the contrary, this is the best season the show has had. Fucking bangers, each episode has been.

I think you might be watching a different show than the rest of us. The good news is, it’s not like someone’s holding a gun to your head*you’re totally free to just change the channel/website and watch something else.

In an episode filled with fantastic performances Culkin really stood out. His torment about what to do and who to side with throughout was conveyed perfectly and almost entirely without saying a word about it.

Yup.

They cheered pretty hard for Colin Jost at the beginning of Update, too.

I’ve heard of shows declining in quality during later seasons, but this is the first one I’ve known to drain the energy from its audience.

I…yeah, I completely agree.

Billie Eilish has star power. I liked her musical performances a lot, but I was most impressed by how she held up during the sketches. Sometimes did better than the actual cast. Good episode! Felt like it went by quickly, which I think is a good thing.

I will never understand the Kate McKinnon love. I find all of her impersonations to be so grating, and just not funny.

the giggling was just a good reminder that she’s just a kid, and yes, so charming.

I absolutely adored this show and was completely won over by Eilish’s charm. It was somewhat astonishing that her giggling didn’t ruin the scenes, partially because the writers were really smart about the roles they had her do.

Speaking of gross behavior, did everyone else all ready know about this?

That's because if you ignore the dumb slo-mo bits, the movie is only 34 minutes long.

In that case I vote for ‘Suicide Squad: The Wheden Cut’ and just burn everything to the ground.

In fact, Johann Johannsson did most of the music for Arrival--IIRC they just used the one Richter piece.

It doesn’t have to be his fault to lead to suicide. I think he’s fucked. And a part of me is grinning, because all his life he has been a complete asshole.

What the fuck? What a horrible comment.

Oh man, I don’t know what’s sadder, that Laszlo decided to be chummy with Colin Robinson because he found out he was dying or that Colin Robinson died (??) when they actually became friends.
