Beyond the fact that I was entirely entertained, I know that I thought about the movie longer than I normally think about movies afterwards. To me, I’d count that as a success.

Towards the end of the show, each episode’s premise was a way of dressing the characters up in sexy outfits. Sexy mermaids, sexy superheroes, sexy warriors. Considering the audience was primarily women and gay men, I’m not sure why this was the new schtick (lesbians, I suppose, appreciated this).

Can we skip this reboot and instead convince some network to adapt the Discworld books about the witches? 

This is a reboot that makes sense. The original... creatively...didn’t quite live up to the potential of its premise.
