This show feels like it would have been about 10 times better in the hands of Bryan Fuller. It needs that extra spark of wit and life that Fuller brings to his work, and Sonnenfeld just can't get it to work.

Can you really say The Office had a fourth wall considering it was a "documentary" where the characters would regularly address the camera in cutaway scenes? Documentaries don't have fourth walls. They start with the notion that they and the people they're recording are being observed - and know it. Hence no fourth
