Half of these aren’t horror movies...

Alien vs Superheroes don’t really interest me. The idea of matching up popular IP characters vs a Marvel/DC superhero is a dime a dozen, but a story pitch of Star Trek in the Alien world has my attention and I’m not even a Star Trek fan.

Apologies if I mentioned this before, but in the chapter on Destiny in Jason Schreier’s book Blood, Sweat, & Pixels, you can get a real sense of how high on its own supply Bungie got during the game’s development. They’re always talking about how awesome the worldbuilding and lore are, that it’s going to be the next

He tried to pay the ticket. It was issued unfairly, as he wasn’t leaving the vehicle parked like that, but he tried to pay it. The town representative decided to shake him down even more.

Haven’t we already done the “dude from Nazareth gets big mad about commerce in a public space” thing?

Plenty of people, stop being a dick and look outside once in a while.

Did you read the article?  He used the sign after he was unable to get any buyers from his online ads.

Why wouldn’t you?  Takes like a minute to make (or $1 to buy and fill out) and would increase your chances of selling.  Last vehicle I sold, I used both online ads and a physical for sale sign.

Seems like they would have to ticket every work vehicle on the road that had a phone number advertised on the side. Isn’t that “using the streets for commercial purposes?”

Why do you "loath people who do this"?  I am legitimately curious and a little confused

See “Retired school teacher”. “Internet” is where his bass and crappie go.

This is just my disdain (from afar) from GW.  Their business model is atrocious.  Ah well.

I’ve been playing 40K since 1996.

The object that survived the reentry is made of the metal alloy Inconel...

I disagree whole heartely....to a certain degree. Basically it’s a case by case basis. Some shows that are released episodically are infuriating and painstakingly a chore to go through. The best example off the top of my head would be Grimm. It was good, but such a slog to get through on episodic weekly basis.

Then pace yourself. Personally I will wait until all episodes are released so that I can watch them all at once.

Just because it all dropped at once, doesn’t mean you HAVE to binge it, it just means the folks that want to can. If you don’t want to, don’t. People just want to watch how they want, the vast majority could give less than a single shit if there’s a cultural conversation about it and whether that conversation is hurt

I know you specified “theatrical movie” but this would’ve been the perfect moment to plug the absolutely amazing Palm Springs!

Imagine if your boss’ mantra was “stay liquid” and then you had to say it publicly.

Never underestimate the power of the A.A.R.P.
