The dev comments in the patch make it seem like they don’t even know how their own game works. The nerfs to crit and vulnerable damage just make those stats even more necessary on gear, not less. Now you need it on more pieces and higher rolls where you get it.

My comment did not seek to diminish other peoples’ preference or infer that a character creator is superfluous. I am glad they exist - doubly so now that people with non-binary body images can create their preferred avatar.

Oh man I haven’t thought of Everquest in a long time. My first college roommate failed out cause of that game. He also had to be told to shower because of that game.

I love it. My only gripe is self-imposed: my ego (for the moment) won’t allow me to pick “Modern” controls even though for someone with less time to play on my hands, it would allow for me to be competitive much more quickly than with “Classic” controls.
