“If a thing was different, it would be different”

clicksBillionaires lost at sea, submersible, lost contact, Titanic??! Mountains of clicks!

This will go down in history as one of the movies of all time.

Fans: “We want to see Spider-man movies where he fights his most famous villains from the comics!”

I’ve seen a lot of movies in my time and this definitely looks like it might be one.

So it’s a movie about a violent vigilante with a low-key supernatural connection with animals. A kind of John Wick imitator with a small twist. Ok, that’s not a bad premis...

It’s Kravin’ time! Is...is that anything?

Is that lion even radioactive?

Look how angry they get when you point out they want to legislate their morality for others.

The vice article mentions an excellent handling of slavery as a game mechanic in another game. Its optional, highlights the human cost AND functions as a stain in your countries history and culture (and lowers your score) if the abolitionists win, masterfully mirroring the mindset of the people who promoted it and

TDKR was a very faithful adaptation, I’ll grant you, but Weller wasn’t a particularly great Bruce or Batman. And the whole thing seemed animated at about 12 frames a second.

But I thought it was the best superhero movie ever? Are you telling me James Gunn was biased and not a trustworthy source? No way!

Yeah, there’s a weird narrative that all console games have perfect frame pacing so that makes 30 FPS feel “smooth.” Aside from the fact that most console games don’t have perfect frame pacing, 30 FPS with perfect frame pacing still isn’t smooth. I’ve played Horizon: Zero Dawn, Spider-Man and other games on console

Good to see lead series writer Jenna Ortega so chipper despite the strike!

I look forward to all of these running for two weeks and then getting canceled.

Have you ever heard of Bethesda? I’d highly suggest you altar your expectations a bit. Not saying it won’t be fun, buuuut...

Solution: No space sandwiches. Bam, 60fps. Reasonable sacrifice for double the frame rate. Astronauts should be eating food in pill form anyway.

I have to admit, while acknowledging that tastes are subjective, seeing FF12 listed there really took me by surprise. I actively have to hold back on making a snarky comment about that as from a story perspective it was a pretty huge mess and had one of more complicated development histories of the games.
